Full Weapons System Unicorn ver. krescenhaze (Kaos)
« on: January 08, 2011, 12:59:17 AM »

Hello Gundam Australia!

This will be my first WIP here, I am from the Philippines

I plan to make my own rendition of Full Weapons System Unicorn (ambitious project)

Did a little modifications on the torso part, increased its height to compensate with the leg proportion

I added propellant tanks/air stabilizers at the back - cylinder was from a 10mL syringe and detailed with pla-plates and koto thrusters

For the weapons, I added a Fin Funnel System - will detail it later

Twin Mega Cannon - Basically, these are made from spray caps, Dymo container, 4 ballpen tubing, and 1 koto part. The build is to mimic the Mega Cannon of Tallgeese III, but with a little mix of Gadessa's beam cannon.

After 17 days, it still looks like a papercraft, added the shield on the side, but I only have one shield  ???
I'm having a problem on how I can do this weapon as though it is in "Destroy Mode" as well  :-[

Overall Appearance

THANK YOU GUNDAM AUSTRALIA!!

I'm really excited to see how this all turns out. I like how you're making use of these everyday objects (is a syringe an everyday object?...). One thing I'll say: I definitely don't like the added height on the torso. You added too much, imo. That's just one newb's opinion though. Keep at it!!!

Welcome to GAF. Looking great there! Maybe extra pink panel line would work with the overall destroy mode theme?

I like how you're making use of these everyday objects (is a syringe an everyday object?...)

Lol alpha!!

The mods look great, but like Zen suggested, Hit that bad boy with some pink panel lines!

Thank you Sir! I work in the medical field that is why syringe is easy accessible for me, hihi. I don't know if I extended the height of the torso too much, hihi.  :D

Yup I'm thinking of adding panels line and adding layered pla-plates on the Twin Mega Cannon and Fin Funnel System

The mods look great, but like Zen suggested, Hit that bad boy with some pink panel lines!

Yup yup, noted Sir!

DAY 25

- added pla-plates on Fin funnels, outcome is not good for now, until painted
- still have flaws and errors after priming....

Shield replication - tried to scratch build two shields, that will be attached on the twin mega cannon instead of buying another Unicorn just for the shield

THANK YOU GUNDAM AUSTRALIA !

The problem with plaplating I see often is that many pieces don't seem to match exactly. Yours on the other hand are practically perfect. How did you do it?

Tell me more, tell me more! I eventually plan to do get into the fray when I finish off my O, but early experiments haven't been promising.

Those mods are awesome!  :o  I wish I could do scratchbuild like that.  Mine scratcbuilds are messy looking .

Keep up the good work!

BTW, i'm also Filipino, but I live in the USA.

@ Falldog: Thank you Sir! Well actually, there are also flaws and errors in my work, hihi. Practice and practice is what I can advise to you guys!

@ Sandrock: wow! Thank you Kabayan!

@ MisterYoso: a little idea and concepts will do, but the measurements are the hardest to do.... Are you a kabayan also Sir?
