1/100 Grimgerde custom paint
« on: May 22, 2017, 08:12:39 PM »

1/100 Grimgerde.  New paint scheme.  Im going for a bit of asymmetry with my IBO kits
Painted with a mix of Vallejo model air and model colours. No mods.  I feel that the Grimgerde is pretty solid looks wise to start. Let me know what you folks think.  Any feed back or critic go for it.  I want to get better.
Hope you like

Great build HUCMAL.

If I were to change anything:
(1) I would put more decals on with one especially eye catching one as it adds another point of interest and adds more asymmetry;
(2) the pose looks boring to me. I'd try something where you can splay the limbs out more and mount the model on more of an angle.

The positives outshine the criticisms though. The shading is done well and I like the choices you made regarding the asymmetric colours. Also extra points for painting the interior of the shields grey, looks great and look forward to the next!
