UC Hardgraph 1/35 Hovertruck
« on: December 07, 2016, 07:36:43 PM »

Here's my take on the 08MS Hovertruck. I've done it the vein of a guntruck from the Vietnam War era.

Base kit was built pretty well OOB with some small mods to the tail gate area and the turret. The add on side plates were plasticard as are the gunner's platforms. The turret and all the weapons are Live Resin parts. The crew is a mix of Live Resin heads with Legend and Master Box bodies. The reactive armour is from the Bandai Builders MS Armour parts set. Paints are mainly Gunze with Tamiya & Vellejo. Weathering is done with Vallejo pigments & Tamiya makeup sets.

It would appear that useless Photobucket has crapped itself again  :-\

There are missing pics of the rear that have heaps of fired 40mm cases all over the floor as well  :)

Fixed the links. They worked fine last night when I previewed the post before saving but between last night and today they lost a number  :o :o :o

You wouldn't have seen all the pictures as the links were wrong for around 10 of them but not to worry, probably not worth looking at anyway  :)

Crew makes a big difference
Though I would get rid of those pebbles on the base, they really don't belong

Crew is still not right. I glued the wrong figure on the left gun, he was supposed to go on the rear gun and the other figure won't line up with the rear gun hence he's about to grab something off the front armoury.

The base is only temporary. I used for QMHE as I didn't paint the underside properly. I eventually want it to go on either a jungle or river based SE Asian scene with a Buddha statue and a few Charlie with RPGs hiding behind it, ready to leap out and go "Trick or Treat"
