1/20 Bandai Pailsen Files Scopedog
« on: October 27, 2016, 08:16:47 PM »

Finally got round to adding the finishing touches so here goes.

Pailsen Files version of the Scopedog. Completely OOB, painted in NATO colours for our GAF squad for the 2016 QMHE comp.

Main camo is Tamiya, with Gunze & Vallejo for the details.

Those not familair with the anime might think it's a bit overdone in the damage department but if anything it's probably underdone as the hero Chirico gets the 5hit shot out of him all the time. In a few episodes he sometimes pops the lid and arcs up with his blaster, especially if the optics are gone. The kit comes with two figures, a standing and a sitting pose, so to do this I grated one of the standing figure arms to the sitting figure.

Great kit, well in advance of any Gundam Master grade kit, pity they are so few and far between. I think it's about time you revisited this series Bandai.

Sorry some of the pics are a bit washed out but with the pose it's in, the arms are too close to the sides of the photobooth and there's too much glare.

that looks great gunny, having the pilot modified to be performing an action gives it a little life which is cool
