Hi, Geoff in Sydney here
« on: July 18, 2016, 01:14:49 AM »

Hi all, What a great forum you have here for Gundam building and discussion. This is my first post and really my first real week in Gunpla, although I have been watching  :)

I have the 1/48 Zaku 2 green vers. on order, plus the first series and Gundam 0083 on dvd coming. What tipped me over the edge? Seeing the 1/48 Zaku kit. I have liked the design for a long time and seen many good build ups on line and at expo's.

A bit about me: Am 48, been building models since my teens (grew up in a cold place..) Started in 1/72 planes, then 1/35 military genre. Tried to balance  that and Sci-Fi together and realised that I had to choose one. Opted for Sci-Fi. I attend Melbourne Model Expo each year since 2012 and have been lucky enough to receive a few awards there. If nothing else it's a good chance to get my crazy subjects seen.

Other genres I like: Batman, Gerry Anderson series, that brown box series from Japan :), Godzilla, Gamera, Alien, etc.
Thanks for looking, Geoff.
