Both kids want to paint their kits just like dad, so we are starting with Tylers. I dissassembled his kit and cleaned the nub marks up. I also glued the two halves of the legs and arms together. Tyler then brush painted plenty of MR surfacer 500 onto the joints.
When dry I sanded them up and undercoated them in Tamiya Primer as I don't want them using laquer paints until I can get a second breathing mask.
I them loaded up the spray gun in Off White Tamiya Acrylic and Tyler held the gun and pulled the trigger while I held and moved the part around as he doesn't have the proper coordination just yet. I layed down a final top coat after his two coats.
Then it was dark grey, followed by yellow ( That being his favourite colour )
Tyler then wanted the hands and detail parts hand painted by me to "make it look like the cartoon one"
This is where we are at.
Once I get time to finish the detail painting I'll clearcoat it so Tyler can panel line the entire model before a final sealer coat.
