I think some of the static poses could be made more dynamic. Mostly that the Astray's pose is a little stiff, as are some of the Zaku poses. I know you're having trouble posing them in some of those scenes because of the uneven ground, but the result is that it comes off as wooden. I don't know what kind of camera you use or whether you have the time to do full stop-motion, but that might help. If you can't do full stop motion, try making some of the poses look more flexible. EG think about Superhero comics and how they look dynamic and in action even if they're not actually moving. Or even some poses for Gunpla.

The Zaku rocking back and forth when firing it's machinegun looks okay, though.
