That's looking incredible! I've been building Gunpla for 2.5 years as well but I'm nowhere near your level :'(. Can't wait to see the finished kit.

Ah man thanks for the compliment! Maybe it's cause I do alot of drawing and traditional art as well, so i've been abe to bring in those elements into my gunpla-ing. Yep I can't wait to share it when it's done!

Wow that is AMAZING!!! I would love to learn how to scribe panel lines like you! Plz be my master!!!!! haha. I have been building gunpla for the last year but I couldn't imagine being as skilled as you!

Ha ha! Oh man, you'll get there and prolly even be better than me, just keep smashin out the builds and tryin it! That's what I did.

wow all these details being added are amazing, nice work man

Thanks Fury, they took soooo long to do, but damn I'm happy with em.

Oooh, I do have the sazabi ver ka kit all built, and eventually i'll do the dremel/panel line work on him, but it scares me because it's SUCH a physically big kit, that it would take months to do! Ha ha! But I sure will down the track. And I still am yet to do the Mg infinite Justice, it would look great hey.

Hey again!
Here's some little updates on the Sinanju. Next up is the legs, and WOAH NELLY these things took me the longest time to do, and i'm still not finished with the side mounted thruster racks, aie! But I had a tonne of fun with these hey. He's slowly getting there!

I'm most proud of the white plastic additions (cut from the naming plates of white runners in the kit) to the kneecap, the calf thruster covers, and the front ankle guard. I'm trying to tastefully add it to certain areas of the kit.

Next up after the thruster rack is the waist armour and then that'll be it!

See ya everyone!

Ha ha! Oh man I wish I did. I have the 1/144 kit somewhere, but lord knows which box. You'll just have to use your imagination.

here's a little update!
Real life work has taken me away from this project a little recently, but here's some new parts that I've worked on.

Here's my work on the side leg thruster for the good ol Nanjie! (oh gosh what a horrible nickname for it, ha ha!). I had a hell of alot of fun extending the fins with some white plastic from the white runner's name plate, and cutting out that area to reveal the inner middle thruster was SO scary to do! But so far I love it. Phew.

I'm finally on to the skirt armour! Here's a fun little one. Those teeny thrust stabiliser yellow vents are some of the tiniest little mods i've done on a kit so far! I still amazed how some little cuts and shave-aways of plastic can make such a difference in appearance.

Pieces this small are hard to balance right as i'm tempted to add a tonne of panel lines and details. But I gotta keep it as less is more! So far I like the balance I ended up with. I was able to stop! Ha!

If you look closely you might be able to see the flattening of the original smooth surfaces, to give it a more angular feel, something i'm trying to reflect in the whole kit itself.

And instead of trying to putty and smooth the backside piece of the little hang-down ellipse, I cut the gap to be thicker, and changed the shape to make it look like two pieces. Presto! No putty or sanding needed! Phew.

And lastly, if any of you use facebook and want to check out my galleries on there, feel free to anytime.
See ya'll!
Josh

I like that white edging and I must agree on the yellow bit that little bit of shaving changed the form so much.
