Yet another expensive area of shelf space in my storage cupboard :( Bummed out that the clear armour parts I specially ordered from Japan ended up being not enough to cover the whole kit in clear parts like the pic in my Dengeki mag, and also that they were available on the shelf here for less than it cost me to import them through the official Bandai channel.

Good kit. Has a few painful bits (the joint pins killed me) Its a shame my WIP was lost when the forum died but i can make up for that with strike freedom ;)

Hopefully I built this one this year. But I have a lot of kits to built.

@Vamp

same here.  I'm not confident building it since I heard rumors that some exterior armor parts are hard (or impossible?) to disassemble once you snapbuild it.  Still checking other WIPs about this but so far I only read one mention it and he didn't say specifically what the parts are.

@ Garret MAsterson, take your time, I am taking my time as well.  I am currently just building MG kit, and still thinking I have too much to learn at the moment.
Surely one day, the "right time" will arrive....., however, I beg at that time I will have too many backlog also... -_-
Well well, that's just one of the fun parts of this hobby :)

If you prepare the armour as shown in ghost of zeons guide here (http://www.ghostofzeon.com/diy/assembly/easydisassemble.html) you shouldn't have any problems with the armour. Outside of this the only piece I have had trouble with is the red gem on the forehead. Leave it till when you finish as it is very very difficult to remove once the head has been fully assembled. Also I would recommend you don't put on the green lenses for the gn capacitors until you have finished either.

The main complexities of this kit come from the special locking joints of the frame and the torso (which is really really cool), and as long as you can follow the instructions in the booklet you will be fine. Just remember to snip those pegs a little.

I'd also recommend learning how to a bit of detailing (panel lining/pla plate/option parts/etc) as there are some parts that have large non-detailed areas. This is not true for the raiser as that thing has awesome detailing. Also that you paint the sensors and invest in some better LEDs for the head if that's important to you.
