Ogre Warrior *FINISHED*
« on: November 27, 2014, 07:03:04 PM »

I got this from Giorgos Tsougkouzidis, he makes them and sells them himself
There was almost nothing to clean up on the resin and the detail is really nice

Primed and then started some preshading on the face

First layer of colours

More to come along as I get time

It's good to see something that isn't sci-fi for a change  :D

Are they based on an already existing IP, or are they Giorgos' own unique sculpts?

His own works, he did an ape that looks like its based on Planet of the Apes but his orcs, ogres and giants are all his own.
You can find him on facebook and order from him directly, that ogre was 55Euros posted

Thats where we ended up after 2 days
I think it's coming along ok, I am still tossing up the idea of either some sort of facial tattoo or skin design

Might just have a crack at a tattoo

Instead of a tattoo, why not war paint? Use brighter colors to contrast on the green skin?

The cool thing is, you actually make that Ogre look ELEGANT. It's pretty impressive. Most people think they have to 'dirty up' orcs and ogres (mostly the Games Workshop ones). But you make him look nice, clean and dignified--and still be an Ogre. Really good work.
