Another great weapon set from Bandai. This one is more for the chop 'em up set as opposed to the blow 'em up set. Really don't know why it's called MS Launcher 01 when the Katana is the stand out item.

You can make two missile launchers and two Katana with saya.

The missile launchers are 3 piece that just snap together with no seams at all. They are intended to go on the shield holes in the arms but they could be used anywhere.

The Katana is one piece and just requires normal clean up but the saya is two piece and needs the seams cleaned up. The mount is intended to replace the side skirt armour on GM/RX types but could be mounted anywhere just by drilling a 3mm hole. It can be attached to either the left or right side.

Pity about the 1/144 scale, I still prefer to build in 1/100

The most annoying thing about this? If I knew that Bandai was going to make a pair of 1/144 Katanas with saya anyway I wouldn't be struggling with my customized Sengoku Astray build...

Have to admit, it's a decent builder's set seeing that just the swords wouldn't have justified the price tag, so the rocket launchers are a bonus.

This set has me immediately thinking about what I can do with Astrays with it....

They are close to the Red Frame swords, but not quite the same:

As to Sengoku Astray, they's definitely closer in sword design but I don't have a pic that shows it clearly enough to compare.
