MG Ric Dom
« on: December 27, 2013, 12:33:08 PM »

This is my MG Ric Dom in the colours from the playstation video game.
I custom mixed the colours and painted it adding lighter mixes of the base colours to highlight the large panels. I also chipped the feet and will add some chipping to various skirts and some pastel weathering.
The head at the time of the photo was waiting for the clear red on the mono eye to dry.
Unfortunately I am now back on site so it will be two weeks before I get another crack at it.
The lighting isnt exactly the best but you get the general idea.

nice looking Dom.  Did you paint the feet silver first then black to get the chipping to look "real" I'm still working on my weathering methods.

I painted chrome silver and used citadel bolt gun metal and lead pencil to give it depth.
Unfortunately the picture doesn't show it.
I then stippled maskol over it and the sprayed the base colour. It is a weird black brown colour and was a real muther to colour match.
