RG MkII Titans - Holiday Build
« on: December 27, 2013, 10:05:38 AM »

Currently on holiday in sunny QLD, dropped into zombster to make my brother buy me a xmas present, picked out the Titans, my first RG.
Started building it last night, got the inner frame done, so far so good, the small size makes some things rather fiddly but overall its been good fun.

Looks good to me so far.  I have all the RGs you will get used to the small size of the parts, at least I did.  You are doing a rather good job with this being your first RG keep it up.

haha they sure do, doesn't help they are the only fully armored part essentially

had a decent bit of down time this arvo got basically the MS itself done, again some fiddly bits but in general a good fun kit to build really enjoying it and the outcome, love it

Finished all the accessories and guns, and got it all together, really loving the final outcome even without the stickers, the color separation and details are fantastic, best of all the kit is solid, save for the guns you can really work this kit and nothing falls off or breaks, very happy there.

Pics - bad ones i miss my camera and light box

time to ruin all that enjoyment with stickers

Bad pictures, naughty pictures. Go straight to bed without any tea  :P

It's an RG surely something falls off it  ;)

I'm in the other boat as far as the markings are concerned. I reckon it looks a bit plain at the moment. Maybe it's those naughty picture's fault  :)

Haha, na your right it's  very plain atm I just meant the colors and detail make it look good still, as for stuff falling off I fully expected it to be flimsy and armor to fall of but this a very solid kit.

Surprising as it may seem, the RGs are rather sturdy kits.  The MGs on the other hand ..... put them on a stand and don't breath around them. Better yet don't even go in the same room. Especially the Unicorn Gundam full armor ver Ka.  That one drops thing just for fun i think.

Looks good! I didn't know that the MkII had been realised as a RG kit.

- ...you've never built the MG Gundam MK-II Ver 2.0, have you?
Or the MG Jesta?
Or the MG Crossbone Gundam?

Mod edit: Rest of post removed. Not exactly friendly  ;) I'm sure what you meant to say was that MG kits are indeed pretty sturdy  :)

Way clean build so far Fury.  Did you do any sanding to get rid of the nub marks cause I cant see any.  Then again I'm half and colour blind...

post it up!

spent the morning applying stickers, it wasn't that bad a job only a few little ones in hard to reach places, and for all those worried about the stickers being too heavy, ver ka level, the titans is a perfect counter to that, most of the red/black ones are washed out by the blue and even the white ones become darker then usual the result is what is a heavy sticker job not looking that heavy, i really like it.

this is as done as it will get for now, gotta get it home and get a top coat on it to hide the sticker edges and then a proper photoshoot to call it complete
