Gundam 30th Anniversary History of Gundam Armed Force Emblem Pins Collection

This little beauty was made available in limited release in Dec 2009. I'm not sure how many were made, mine is numbered 0930 so there may be either 1000 or 9999  :) Going by the price on release, 21,000Y it could well be 1000 but Bandai are not known for being kind to collectors so it may well be 9999  :-\

The set comes in a rather solid box with a bubble wrap sleeve around the frame and corner caps. Quite well packed considering how some of Bandai's other collectables come. There are 32 full gloss enamel faction emblems and one 30th Anniversary badge in the set. The badges cover all the series except for Unicorn. The frame has an inbuilt fold out arm to display it freestanding and a hanging cord for wall mounting.

Are they new badges solely for the set or repackaged versions of older badges? I think I've got that Titans badge, only with a red rather than blue star.

And I can't seem to find said Titans badge because of all the Gunpla parts strewn all over my desk and floor. -_-

Don't know. As I said I've never seen them before this came up for sale.

There is another set that was released around the same time that had badges of all the Gundam heads. Same amount, 32 I think. According to one write up they aren't as "rare" as this set as they were available in general release instead through Bandai Premium but that didn't stop the low life on ebay trying to sell one last week for $865 yank. Needless to say it didn't sell.
