pity about all the issues and troubles but the result is a rather unique design indeed and it looks great

A very interesting looking Stein indeed.  I like the colours you have chosen and feel your pain again the clear coat eating away at the other paint layers.  Very nice details, but I'm wondering if you are going to apply any decals to the MS? 

Now that you mention it the shoulders, arms, fuels tanks and possibly the shield do have a similarity to the MG Hi Nu as I'm working on this kit at the moment.

Love the colour and nice and clean,some custom decals would make this kit even better imo.
