Another in the line up of Bandai Builders Parts. This time it's Zeon & Federation emblems.

There are 3 types of emblem (Zeon, Neo Zeon & Federation) with 3 sizes (large, medium & small). There are also shields (or reliefs) for each emblem to go on. Each sprue give you one of each emblem for a total of 9. There are 2 sprues in a pack.

You can use the emblems without the reliefs if you want and in most cases that would be the way to go as the reliefs are fairly big and will no conform to curved surfaces very easily. The emblems are reasonably flexible and will, if not pushed too far bend to conform to curves.

These are probably the best of this series of releases as the other two parts are already covered by other manufactures. The only problem I have with this set is that the scum Zeon are favoured 2 to 1 over the mighty Federation  :P

One thing I forgot to add is that the emblems are all undergated so you don't damage the shape when cutting them out.

- "Absolutely Everything"? :D

Are these emblems big enough to be used as shields on 1/144 kits, or just as display emblems?

All three large emblems are approx 28mm long so at a pinch they could be used as small hand shields similar to the small shields the Scots used to use but not full blown shields like the Poms.

I can't wait to stick the neo zeon emblem on absolutely everything.

I can see a Young Ones moment on the horizon. Super glue anyone?
