Phew, Phew.

Arcade game classic. Galaga. There seems to be a bit of a push for arcade game kits out of Japan at the moment.

This one is from Wave and is of the fighter in Galaga. There's not much to the kit and is quite pricey for what you get. 4 off white coloured sprues, one dark grey sprue and a sprue of polycaps. This is definitely a glue and paint kit. It has a pretty good decal sheet with a number of alternative markings. It also comes with a stand.

The gimmick for this kit is that it can be joined at the wing tips with other Galaga kits to form the powered up version you can get in the arcade game.

Started this today. Pretty simple kit but it's a bit of a dog's dinner as far a seams are concerned. I feel a bit ripped off actually. The kit was pretty pricey but the quality is no better than an 80's Gundam. This is the first Wave kit I've assembled and I thought they would have been better.

This kit is crap! I wouldn't waste your money on it. If you want similar quality just buy any 60's or 70's Japanese or Chinese kit. At least they'll be a lot cheaper  :-\
