Wolfmans's MG Nu Gundam Ver Ka
« on: March 10, 2013, 10:27:43 AM »

After 2 months worth of work Im happy to complete this Nu Gundam kit which I purchased during my trip in Japan. Went through a number of hiccups along the way building this but overall Im satisfied with the results. No shield on this though since something I did ( and im guessing its the paints split the main shield part in 2. I could go on with the number of issues when building this but its mainly due to personal error when assembling.

I love how the red decals work with the dark colours.

KILLER. Easily my favourite work of yours to date, and tied for first spot as my favourite from the Gauntlet with Falldog's.

Colour palette: 10/10
Paintjob: 9.5/10
Decals: 9/10
Pose: 8/10
Photography: 7.5/10

Crit's: You could have used a softer light, two light sources, or something to filter the light. It's a bit washed out and harsh. I was actually expecting to be blown away by your pics after all of your recent foray into photography. The main problem with the photos is that there is only 4 of them. >:[

The actual build itself is nearly flawless. Apart from a tiny bit of edges on your decals this is a stunning work. Those colours are just perfect for my taste. Sooo complimentary, every colour from the grey to the black to the red to the gold to the green all work perfectly in harmony, accenting and highlighting in all the right places and blending and harmonizing in just the right ways.

Outstanding mate. Very well done.

Frucking nailed it.

Was trying the ring flash and it didn't work in the end. If was going for the things I know I've no problems at all haha. Oh well
Will have to make up for the bad shots and then replace the shots with the ones I got here right now. I know I can shoot better then this
