Bought a Zee-Zulu today at Model Expo. The challenge for me is to feddy-ize this suit and probably use the Desert scheme for camo color (unless I think of something better). Will most likely use Feddy weaponry on the MS, with modifications that I believe will be within reason.

Mods: mainly removing anything hydro-related from the suit and giving it Feddy armamnets for a standard desert troop. I'll improvise as I go along.

Oh for god's sake, my Nokia phone doesn't have a timestamp option. All I have as proof it the location and Mokona_Man being at the same place I was---Model Expo at Sandown Park today 9 June 2012...

BTW: The main reason I finally picked this suit? Take note of the Heat Knife design, and then compare and contrast with this:

No, but it does save EXIF data, which says you took it at 2012:06:09 17:08:02.
So you're safe.

(sigh of relief)

Will get to work straight away. I'll also try to update the progress with pics. Just not now as I need a rest after today's big day at Modle Expo and coming down with a coughColdBackache combination from stressing out... :/

Let's see what I can do with this.

Loving the kit choices so far, this not being any exception!

ARGH. So far got a Jegan beam rifle for this kit, but a bit stuck because I can't find a cardboard box spray booth to start priming some of the parts. Sicne the new place I live is a shared house I can't paint indoors (and the garage is restricted access), so I'm stewing about an alternative---nobody sells the BAKUC cardboard spray booths anymore, either.

BTW, if anyone is wondering why I'm so into the Karambit-style blade, this video will probably help--it's actually a monologue by instructor Doug Marcaida, but the important parts is how he describes and demonstrates the use of the Karambit. Now tell me you can't imagine how scary a MOBILE SUIT wieldign one of these would be...Mobile Fighters, get ready to be owned.

You just need a big cardboard box? Try thr recycling dump outside your nearest shopping center or shopping complex. Even the local convinient store could oblige.

I live in Box Hill now. Those damn boxes seem to get snapped up in the area. :(

Currently stuck. Either it's too wet for me to go out and spray paint, or else I'm working OT hours. AAAARRRGH

I'm going to have to go with just paint and use of Feddy weapons/gear (Except the Heat Knife/Karambit).

Good news, thouhg. The shed in the back of the house I live is unused, so I'm using thta for spray painting at the moment. Not been told off by housemates or landlord yet so I'll play it by ear. That said, I skipped the primer entirely and went straight to the desert yellow coating. Hopefully will have pics after the paint has dried--the shed has a roof, but its still dang cold out there...
