Now were getting technical..

What I want to do is have two seperate post count based groups, one for zeon and one for federation, that calls a different amount of insignia based on your post count (rank), and allow people to join whichever group they want from their profile page.

Why don't they write mods specific to what I want them to do?! ;)

oh right ye what i linked to would allow people to set a faction they belong too and it should be easy to display that but ye having to separate post count groups is a whole other kettle of fish :P

Great idea. I've found the perfect faction symbol for Zeon  :)

Found some Zeon insignias in my research for the GB. :)

You might be able to use it... if you can read Japanese.

I take it, everyone will have one insignia if this goes ahead?

I want 10 stars! Is it every 100 posts, you gain a star?

The plan is to straight up replace the stars with insignia so you'll keep the amount you have know

I can't find where you guys can look at it, but the post count ascendancy looks like this:

FYI they are all EFSF ranks, in ascending order, excluding the real sh1tkicker ranks. One of the many Militarily themes I have worked into the forum, unbeknownst to most.

It's not suprising really. Many forums I visit only have a small number of 'active' members. A lot of people register and never bother returning.

It does look weird especially for a community so active, but those numbers are actually pretty good for a "single"focus forum especially a niche focus, having 40+ people stick around to reach 100 is not a bad achievement
