I think I shall enter into the fray.  I may have a ball that is begging to switch teams.

Lots of material there  >:D but seeing as it's a family forum it shall go through to the keeper  :)

Pity I've already built the Pink Beargguy. I'm pretty sure he's switched sides but that's not what this build is about, is it  ;)

Enough silliness for now.

I have a question regarding camo schemes. Both sides are prolific users of camo, especially on the MSV side of things. There are numerous schemes that look pretty similar so my question is; is any camo scheme allowed for any side as long as the side they are on is clearly identified with appropriate markings or do we have to provide a reference to the specific camo scheme used.

To keep it short and sweet I reckon one of the three options below would be enough.
1. No camo at all.
2. Any camo as long as it is clear what side the suit is on.
3. All camo must be referenced and applicable to the side chosen.

@thegunny: The camo should be a camo pattern the side you're rebranding has used.
3. All camo must be referenced and applicable to the side chosen.
That one.

thanks but it woud not have mattered any way as i am assuming a gouf custom is not a grunt suit.
Correct. As thegunny said in the last group build the Gouf Custom isn't a grunt. The standard Gouf is, though.
I REALLY DONT REMEMBER ASKING THAT BUT WHAT EVER, THANKS

Great challenge!

But with the final colour scheme, does it also have to be from a Grunt? Or could it be something like the Char colour scheme or Tri Stars?

Oh, and would it be alright to use my unfinished Ball from the last GB. The two halves have been cut from the sprue, but thats all.

You cannot have started on the kit at all before the start date. While it may sound harsh, since you've only removed two parts from the sprue, rules are rules. I won't make exceptions.

As for colour schemes they need to have been from a grunt unit. Char I specifically ruled out in the OP. The TriStars were a group of aces, and therefore also not grunts.

There are plenty of awesome grunt unit schemes out there to choose from.

My bad it wasn't you. You asked pretty much the same question that was asked in the two previous builds. You turn caps lock off now  :)

One of the biggest detail points in this build will be decals, which definitely won't come with the kits, so those with out a large pile of unused decals should decide on an idea asap and see if they can't pair up and swap decals with another member doing an opposite swap ;)

Ok. I want in on this even though half of the build time fall in my exam period. :P

I have some questions though. First of all I assume the GM Cannon II is allowed? But are Gundam GPO2A and GPO1FB. I don't hold out much hope but I'd thought I ask. :P

Also, is it just one entry per person or are multiple entries allowed? Also Also, Am I allowed to use the pattern used in the Geara Zulus, Sinanju and Dreissen around the neck and sleeves. I mean the black and white pattern in this one. I dunno if that qualify as a grunt pattern or not.

Lastly, am I allowed print my own decals or do I have to buy and use official ones?

I'll try and see what I can cook up. Johnny Ridden's ReZel custom, or maybe a modded Geara Doga...

@flamingeyebrows: Yes, the GM Cannon II is allowed. No, the GP01FB and GP02A aren't allowed, as they're not grunt suits.

Only one entry per person is allowed. If you want to build mulitple kits as part of the group build, feel free, but you'll have to choose which one is your entry.

The Geara Zulu you've used in that picture is the Elite Guards type, which is given to Full Frontal's elite guards. I've included a picture below of the Normal Type Geara Zulu. You can use the detailing from the Normal type, as it's a grunt, but the Elite Guards type is probably pushing it a little bit.

If you want to print your own decals, that's fine. Just ensure that they're actual in-fiction decals, and not something you design yourself.

@Wavehawk: A ReZEL is fine, as long as it's not the Commander type. Doing it in Johnny Ridden's colours, though, is not. He was an ace.

I have a question.

I want to use a HGUC Gaplant.
A quite customized one.
As a part of a Zeon Forces in Zudah camouflage pattern style.
Can I join?

sorry but i think the gaplant being a prototype is not counted as a grunt.
