I find just some blue tack on the tip of the chop stick works heaps better then clips specially on small or curvy bits

Clever idea! Thanks for sharing. Its like a game of Operation sometimes pulling them out and placing them back.

Only downside is I guess they don't rotate in your fingers as well while you're painting.

I get the alligator clips from Jaycar shop and simply pull out the wire and pop in the stick before cramping with the long nose plier...

I get them from Jaycar as well but I get just the heads and then mount them on the sticks - no need to remove wires and stuff! :D
