I comepletely forgot about this one till someone called me on my mobile on last weekend.
I was out and about and due to the background noise couldn't work out what it was about.
The same guy called me again tonight and after I checked the web site I remembered I entered for the following year last year when I couldn't make to the show.

Again due to the workload and family life I haven't finished the current project well over 10 months now. Guess I may bring some of old works after dusting and all... ^ ^

Will see how it goes as I will have to travel from work to venue on Friday and that means well over an hour of driving as I work near the airport... -,,-

Got a letter in the mail yesterday from Hobbyco. Apparently we collect our 'category cards' on the day and were not in the letter.

Then what is the point of them requiring our personal details?

Got my letter today too. No place cards either.

I'd imagine the letter is to tell us where to be to drop our stuff off etc. Mind you, it could have just been sent as an email or posted on the site.

It was the same letter as what you get in the email they send you. The PDF should be called GBWC Letter 2012.

I got the email this morning. I suppose by sending both they are making the best efforts that everyone gets the correct information.

paid in reading from beginning.
Thought the entry is only for Gundam kit but it seems any Bandai kits are allowed which gives me an back up plan in case I'm unable to finish before Friday this week. :p

Should be just Gundam as they specify "Gundam" and not "Bandai Kit". This is quoted from the rules from both open and secondary category: "....This class is designed for modelers who want to push their skills to the limit by remodeling “Modding” Gundams as well as creating dioramas....." "
These classes is designed for modelers who are still yet to venture into the complexities of remodeling “Modding” Gundams as well as diorama construction.

They are still trying to iron out the kinks in the rules AFAIK. The Bandai kit thing is a remnant from the first year, when it was the BAKUC and I'm pretty sure it no longer applies now that it is the GBWC, or the BGBWC (depending on who you ask). (Yarrrgh! Too many acronyms!)

Noless can you confirm? Last year your Valkyrie was a display piece only, not an entry, correct?

In any case I would love to see your EVA dio on display for a bit of diversity DJ898 :)
