UPDATEd with better photos

EDIT 1: The first 4 photos has been updated. I've removed the ankle armor as per the image and description.

EDIT 2: Thanks to mangyver, I've updated this GM with the blue visor, for the heck of it, I painted fluorescent blue under the visor.

mahq.net: "This GM mounts only the barest minimum of armor (notably missing armor on the shoulders and ankles), thus giving it more acceleration and maneuverability. It also carries a beam gun similar to that of the RX-78-2 Gundam's beam rifle, packing a heavier punch but paying the price in more limited ammunition."

Based on that, I omit the shoulder armor from the MG RGM-79 GM and butchered the rifle of the MG RX-78-2(1) to make it as close to the beam gun shown in the reference image as possible. Mainly, sawing off the tip and omitting scope and other cr@p.

Colour, oh horror!!! It's orangey ain't it? I seriously thought it was a good idea to paint red, well, it pops. I did notice a alternate colouration, so it seems that the original image might have been altered, colour wise. That is that. Flat white for the rest of the armor. Notice the white on the chest, if I have time, I would really like todo something about that, but for now, I will leave it like this.

What else.. custom markings here and there just to make it mine. Not a custom mine you, still a grunt but given more love.

On to photos!! If my DSLR managed to get back from S.Korea before the due date, I would retake them blurry photos.

Lovely. Never seen an MG LA before. Love that shade of red.

Check out dj898's HG Light Armour if you haven't seen it. Great mods.

@thegunny: It's been a great pleasure trying to finish ASAP. Thanks for organizing!

@Sonar: Thanks mate. Love the orange on the LA, which unfortunately I did not have. His mod is superb!

Believe it or not that orange is straight out of Mr.Color Acrylic paint tub. =D
Was going to mix but the color was good enough so decided to air brush straight from the bottle.

By the way MG version looks great.
