@Hemish - that would be cool, the amount of details would be plenty to work with.

@pirshom - Good to have you join in :D and I see you've already got your hand on the kit.

That pic of it in green is actually pretty cool.
There is something about the 00 deisgns, I just cant get into it.

I'll be happy if I finally get a MG Tieren :)
If I had to guess, I think it's because your usual builds are from UC and they are more militaristic in nature, especially after you paint them green, whereas 00 designs rely heavily on a Sci-Fi look rather than military, except for the Tieren...which is probably why you like it :D

Great to have you on board FireStallion, any idea what you gonna do with it?

@Sonar: Yes and no, metallic frame, some metallic blue here and there. Will see how I will proceed when I get the kit.

I think I'll just go for straight build with panel lines and decals only.

Last time I opened the paint bottle, my wife complaint and "kicked" me out of the internal area..........

Guess I have no chance to use paint again!

OMG, did you manage to recolour the carpet?

Well, can't be helped. Looking forward to your OOB. Anyway, you've received the 00 already? How's everything looking? box-wise that is.

The box art is good.

Just see the pics.

I also order some LED's for the kit.

So, I can get all 5 spots to light up.

@FS- that's pretty cool, where did you get the extra l.e.d and how's the price? Anyway, I've read from somewhere that you only need 3 l.e.d to light up everything. Good to know there's plenty more for this kit :D

I'm gonna try to join in. I've already ordered the oo-raiser. I'm gonna try to spray paint some parts and add LED and wiring and try to light up the gn condensor aswell. Depends on how much time I'll have.

Thanks! I need to do some research tho, on how to connect those LED's, wich calculations you need to make for the resistors and stuff, how to get the cables nicely fit into the kit. Ooh btw, i'm gonna do the exia, 00 and qanT at the same time.

And I do have the Qan[t] in backlog. I am thinking a Black Beauty (The Green Hornet) colour scheme.

I got the LED's from HK yahoo auction -> http://hk.f1.page.auctions.yahoo.com/hk/auction/1127867558

HK$11 each + postage. I got 10 of them for less than A$20.

I also found LED's at Hobby Dreams in Capitol Square, Sydney. They are selling two a pack for $10!

But it's actually quite easy to do. Just go to Jaycar for a pack of 3mm LED's. The rest should be straight forward for average techies. Jusy how to make it small enough is the issue.

Well, just clarify, there are five spots for LED in the MG OO Raiser. (vs 3 in the 1/100 NG raiser).

One for head, two for GN Drives, two for the "binders" ("wings" of O raiser).

@Firestallion.Wow, thats a great deal on those LED units, well done! Are they still available for that price? What do you think the possibility of a group buy would be?

Would be awesome to see all the Raisers lit up like that!

@FireStallion: That is a great deal. Well done indeed.

@Hoardz: It says now that one is HK$11.50, which is approximately AUD$1.40. That is freaking huge saving. I think what we need is someone buying 10-20 and divide the cost.

Hoardz & zenma5ter, the LED's are still available. If you order 6 or more, the price is HK$11 each.

The LED's are bright, even brighter than the original Bandai ones.

But they don't fit in the space (I just try MG Exia, MG GN-X. Will try MG OO QAN[T] later.) You need to have some "surgical" operations to fit in perfectly.

YOU ARE WARNED!

But that's also the fun (and "pain") of modelling.

And yes, group buy is a good idea.
