There you go

I got batteries of him for my MG Exia that is still sitting in the box :)
He was great to deal with, cheap and free postage
Doesnt get better than that

thx got it :)
First off, I didn't post it in my joining the gb post but, Falldogy, your PGSF is amazing looking.  My initial idea had be black/red until I heard about and saw your beauty.  I read your follow up too on your blog, I agree quite wholeheartedly with your conclusions.

Also, Kman, really really nice decals, did you make them yourself?

nah just bought them off ebay  ;)

having a bit of trouble editing the original post but i definitely want to open this up to anyone who buys the kit between now and the deadline.

IDK why that would be.. Maybe try clearing your cache? I just performed a small edit to rule 1, if you want to rewrite anything else let me know and I'll fix it up for you. :)

thanks for that mate.  i'll just leave it as is.  thanks for the kind words about the OP as well.  i wanted to get the 'epic' feel but i didnt want the apocalypse thing to make people depresssed!  i mean... it is coming next year apparently

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_phenomenon

i personally hope that its like a meteor or something equally spectacular. but i dont really see how armageddon could be... boring.

btw Sonar my issue editing the post was with the cursor jumping around as i was typing.  i couldnt see the text i was editing.  it was there but the text box kept moving up to an early part of the post as i was typing while the cursor stayed in place.

Busterbeam
lupes
Gaijin Gunpla
ASM
kman
and I am tossing Falldog in there too for honourable mention as he finished his after I first approached the others about the idea but hadn't made the post yet.  Besides if I'd been a week earlier (took a small vacation) or he'd been a week late in any aspect it would have been fine...

So the 1 has become 6!

Also I took a look at the Falldogs write up as well.

http://otakurevolution.com/content/pg-strike-freedom-complete

and I also think that his assessment of the kit is accurate (like ASM said).  if you're thinking of buying the kit do a bit of research first.  as good as it is it isnt what it should be imo.  correction "ioo".  in OUR opinions.

Fill it with putty then drill a tiny hole and insert metal rod down the length of it.

That's probably the route I will take.

and someone needs to come and bust out some awesome PS skills so we can get banners for the GB of all shapes and sizes!

Definitely.  I am not capable of producing the awesomeness some of the people here do using photoshop.

Banners!  We need them!

That is an infinitely annoying bug in this forum software. I had this problem when sending PM's and editing long posts in Japan using Vista/IE. Sometimes this can be combated by using IE in compatibility mode.

I was thinking the same.

Hi again,
thanks for the warm welcome in the forum!

The color scheme i decided is a little strange ( I think ), but i hope will result nice enough.

Basically will be centered around  copper/orange (candy) for the main parts with details in matte black and i decided to leave the original gold inner frame (repainted gold to cover the "bad gold"), from this waspy arrangement of colours derive the name "Stinger".

I am still deciding the colours of the decals but i think they will be black.
Ciao

Wow! That sounds exciting. I know from experience that the orange/black combo is not an easy one to do well. Looking forward to seeing some pics ;)

probably going to have to find a better way to fix this.

Felt this needed to be shared in this thread, for completion's sake. :)

Haha it's like a downgrade!
