Any motor bike riders on site? Show us your wheels.
« on: March 05, 2011, 12:01:07 AM »

Sometime my plasticrack addiction leaves me with a bit of money to pursue other activities.

Any more "bikies" on site? If so let's see your wheels.

I'll start the ball rolling with my 2 current rides.

First is a 2006 Triumph Bonneville. Absolute joy to ride and won't part with it for any reason.

Second is a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom. Softail looks without the rip off price  :D

Great bikes, the old DRZ's. I used to have a DRZ-400 E7  ;D

I don't think there was a tree in the forest out back of Millicent that I didn't hit  ::)

Got rid of it when I came off at about 80k's going down a hill  :'( I split the chin bar off the helmet and completely tore one side of my body armour to pieces and yet I walked away with barely a scratch  :o  I took the hint and put it up for sale the next day.

Oh aye! Glad to hear you're alright.
But that wasn't really the bikes fault was it??    :D
Just because they let us go fast, it doesn't mean we should.
(I crashed mine, on asphalt, the first time I went out on a group ride. OMG how embarrassing!)

So only one other temporary Australian on this site  ???

Or is it the fact you don't want anyone to know you're a Gundam nerd & a motorbike rider  :o ;)

Many of us are Gundam nerds plus something else, it is rare to find a second thing in common with other gunplars.

I have music taste in common with Random & Busterbeam, and to a certain extent Shifty as well who also collects records.

I have the Japanese family/cultural interest thing in common with GaiGun, ASM, and Random.

Maybe some of you like going to the gym? I dunno... Maybe we should have a thread for common interests outside of gunpla?

I've never had much interest in bikes myself, but I definitely have an appreciation for other people's passions.
