The increased backpack doesn't make it too top-heavy, does it?

Not at all. Its all that light weight plastic so it adds very little.

My only real gripe with the kit is that it still uses the old MG style hands which are horrible.

This kit is based primarily on the old MG rgm-79 GM type C trading out some of the original parts for some handy down parts from the MG Mk2 gundam kit and a couple of freshly tooled runners for the powered GM armour parts

Most of the MK2 parts are not even used. In fact the main reason for addition of these 3 runners is for the bazooka.

First off here are pics of the manual.

What does the wind-up mechanism do?....I'm not too familiar with Zoids, did they make a walking shark?  ;D

Pretty much haha.

Nice work fury! I think i still have one of these kicking around in a box somewhere along with a lot of other ones.

Led based builds ftw, what are you making molds of the heatrod? for?

I can only assume he is making clear versions so that they too will light up

Some awesome entries this time round for sure! That guntank is most defiantly awesome and has got me itching to pull my one out to start playing with :)

Thanks Gunny for putting together another great and wacky grunt build, defiantly worthy of being the ultimate and final warrior.
