General Discussion / Happy new year !!
« on: December 31, 2015, 09:30:43 PM »
A happy new year to everyone here on Australian Gundam Forum, may the new year bring you peace and prosperity and the kit you always wanted : like a MG F 90 for Wavehawk (don't hold your breath though) or a MG Hazel for me (among other things),and no special PBandai Gundams that everybody wants but can't get.Besides that I wish the best for everyone and their families...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

My first airbrushed kit, finally made the swap a few months back.I'm not sure if I'll do the backpack or swap it for something else.I also kidnapped one of my daughters LPS figurines, after a week in my labratory it came out looking a little under the weather.

Mobile Suit Hangar / MG Jesta
« on: June 20, 2014, 12:12:29 AM »
Built this one ages ago,one of the most SOLID kits IMO,Great build,no breakages and feels good and solid in the hands.Anyway just a few small tweaks to start with, the small metal decals are a PITA (pain in the ass)  :;^^: I haven't chosen a colour yet either, but like all (good?) things it takes time, ENJOY :) :) :)

General Discussion / Over thinking your Gundam model's
« on: June 17, 2013, 08:26:19 PM »
I have recently been oversaturated with thoughts of my Gundams and how I can modify them,I think about it night and day,I have 4 differents models that I am working on and all these thoughts are driving me crazy.I just finished cutting all the pieces off of a circuit board (a great source of air tanks btw) and the inspiration is killing me lol. Doe's this happen to anybody else????

Meet & Greet / Greetings
« on: April 08, 2013, 05:16:11 PM »
Hello and greetings

My name is David Lynch and I am addicted,my first kit was a Patlabor - phantom labor kit which I bought on a whim in 1992.
I remember the rubber parts used to covers the elbow and knee joints being especially intriguing.
After that life happened (drugs, girls, work etc). But then 2 years ago I discovered GUNDAM!!!!. It consumed me,my every waking hour thinking of different colours, conversions and combinations. My first Gundam was just panel-lined etc (no painting, sanding) then after discovering Gundam sites and and different pics I was HOOKED!!!. I started to gather the necessary materials to make Gundam in earnest ( paints, markers, sandpaper,GOOD SET OF NIPPERS etc) . I started off slow, just colouring the odd part with a Gundam marker after sanding, then after a few more builds I bought a CONVERSION KIT,which really started to test my feeble abilities. After conquering that (see "THE KERMIT  ) I am currently building a NU GUNDAM VER KA,MG EPYON and a blue MG SINANJUn VER KA with metal thrusters etc. I am very happy to find other people like myself that share this addiction, hobby so feel free to send me a message for ANY reason,I am always happy to chat about any subject. ;D ;D

Meet & Greet / Greetings fellow Gundam pilots
« on: May 10, 2012, 07:21:55 PM »
Hello everyone I'm fairly new to Gundam building,I'm on my 4th 1/100th model and I'm getting better each time.Anyway does anyone know of any workshops in the Sydney area where I can meet other Gundam fans and get tips for making my models better,I only panel line them atm but I want to start painting them soon I just need to know the right/best equipment to use and how to use it,Iv'e looked on youtube but I find learning easier if it's in my hands.
Anyway thanks for reading and any info/tips will be appreciated.
