Title: Deano from Redland Bay
Post by: bigdeano on January 06, 2016, 11:16:25 AM
Hi guys, I'm Dean from Redland Bay, just a little bit south-east from Brisbane. I only started collecting Gundams in September but I have over 50 in my collection now. I won't profess to be the best Gundam builder out there because I've never used markers and there aren't many with stickers applied to them, I just build them up to a level I am satisfied with because I know I can always go back and do that stuff later.

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all and maybe even meeting some of you. :)

Plenty of Banana Benders in this forum. They have get togethers from time to time and we have a display at the Queensland Model & Hobby Expo each year (20 & 21 August this year).

Here's a few topics you might want to check out:

Thanks guys :) .

@gunny; I'll definitely take the time to read through those threads, especially the Brisbane meet up one.

And yeah, when I was counting up the ones on my desk before making this thread I couldn't believe it. Most are from Seed, 00, and GBF, although the number of Iron Blooded Orphans kits is growing. The reason I have so many is because I go over to my grandmas twice a week to take her shopping, and she usually gives me $60 which is enough for roughly 2 HG kits. And because my grandma lives over near Brookside, just about every shop I know that sells Gundam is on the path I take home.

Hey guys, I finally got around to taking some pictures of my collection so far. They're not good quality by any stretch of the imagination but they're the best I can do with my phone. And sorry for the mess, I'm in the process of packing up to move house.
